Rudy Westervelt has a BS degree from Cornell University and a MS degree from the University of Connecticut. He is a motivational speaker and a business coach, helping individuals and organizations handle change effectively.
In his Rotary life, he is a member of the Rotary E-Club of World Peace, D5330. In District 5330, he was the District Governor in 2015-16. He was the convener of the Rotary World Peace Conference 2016, named as a Presidential Peace Conference, and Rotary World Peace Conference 2020. Rudy is Co-Chair for RLI and Chair of Strategic Planning.
Rudy is president of Solutions for Peace Foundation, Inc. He is a board member of Plan It Life, a non-profit organization, that manages group homes for foster children with advanced social problems. Rudy is a member of Mediators Beyond Borders International.
Karyn Westervelt is a “professional volunteer”. She is a past president of the Rotary E-Club of World Peace. Because the club focuses on peace and meets online, it has interesting, inspirational speakers and discussions.
Living with her husband, Rudy, in the San Bernardino mountains, she worked with the community organizing Disaster Recovery and Preparedness Teams Volunteers. Her main focus has been on youth, working with the Boys and Girls Club, Rotary Youth Camps, Continuation School Students, and ESL programs through the Library.
She helped Rudy who convened the Rotary World Peace Conference 2016 and is integral in the planning and preparation for the Rotary World Peace Conference 2020.
Jamie M. Zinn, is a Principal in the accounting and tax firm of Triple Edge Financial Services with offices in the greater Inland Empire with locations in Lake Arrowhead, Redlands and Riverside. Ms. Zinn has been in the financial services industry for more than 36 years and brings to Triple Edge an extensive background in assisting individuals and companies successfully respond to a range of complex individual and organizational challenges. She and her firm specialize in assisting clients with tax planning and preparation, accounting, payroll, business entity formation and compliance, tax resolution and business planning and management.
Prior to Triple Edge Financial Services, Ms. Zinn was a senior executive officer with a nationwide financial services corporation where she held multiple senior level management positions throughout the organization including strategic, business, profit and capital planning; financial planning and reporting including accounting, tax and finance; primary and secondary marketing research; evaluation and development of new product and delivery concepts with strategic and tactical solutions for implementation; enterprise project methodology; retail site, market and network planning strategies; sales management and performance programs; profitability analysis and Human Resources management and delivery. She was also a Principal and owner of a Los Angeles based management consulting practice that specialized in the strategy, planning, design, building and seamless integration of advanced business management practices and solutions for major consumer products, manufacturing and distribution, financial services, real estate, retail, healthcare, high-tech and entertainment/media corporations including such organizations as Blue Cross, Capital EMI Music, Columbia and Sony Pictures, Hughes Aerospace, McKesson Corporation, Northrup Corporation, Rockwell International, The Koll Company, County of Orange, Kent H. Landsberg, and Pacificare, among others.
Ms. Zinn attended the University of Southern California and University of Phoenix majoring in Business, Political Science and Pre-Law. She also attended University of Redlands for their Masters of Business Administration program. She has been an instructor for the Institute of Financial Education, held her Series 6 and Series 7 NASD Licenses and is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Ms. Zinn lives in Lake Arrowhead with her husband Dwight, daughter Katie and son Ben. She has been recognized as the California Business Woman of the Year in 2005 and 2006 as well as recipient of the Congressional Medal of Distinction in 2006 and 2008 for her work with the Business Advisory Council on taxation. She is actively involved in philanthropic organizations with her community and has been recognized as the Rotary International Four Avenues of Service Recipient in 2008, Rotarian of the
Year in 2010/2011 and 2011/2012, Lake Arrowhead Rotary Club Presidents Award Recipient in 2009/2010 and District 5330 Rotary Award of Excellence Recipient for 2013/2014.
